BLOGG : STRANGE WORLD

These type of people you wont see walking down the street or at a ice cream shop. You had to pay a entrance fee at a freak show or even at P.T Barnum and Bailey circus to see some of them.

Robert P Wadlow ~ was born on February 22,1918 and was the undisputed worlds tallest man ever known.Robert was called “The Alton Giant “weighing in at 490 pounds and was 8 feet 11 inches tall at his death in July 15,1940.A blister created by the braces he needed to walk and support his legs caused his death at 22 years of age. Even at the time of Roberts death, there was no signs of him stopping his height growth.

Born May 11,1811, Chang and Eng Bunker~ was the worlds most famous conjoined twins known. They were permanently attached by the breastbone by a 5 inch ligament. Meeting P.T Barnum gave them control over their career and earned a good living as entertainers. Both married sisters and had 21 children between them while living a full live. Both brothers died on January 17,1874 when Chang caught pneumonia and died in his sleep.Eng flat refused to be separated from his deceased brother and passed away himself 3 hours later. Later the writer Mark Twain would write a short story about them called “The Siamese Twins.”

Most of us are normal for the most part and lead very normal lives. We can go anywhere we want and not attract attention unless we want to. When we die, we are put to rest while our families mourn us then move on with life.
For others, this isn’t an option from the time they are born to the time they take their last full breath as they pass away. This goes way beyond twins, triplets or any other known
multiple births that has been recorded in history. These people stand out in a crowd large or small no matter if they want to or not.

Charles S Stratton
was born on January 4,1838 to very normal parents its told. But Charles never grew to be no taller then 3 foot 3 inches tall and weighed 71 pounds. P.T Barnum is responsible for making him famous and gave him the name of General Tom Thumb.Tom grew wealthy and lived a full life until his death in July 15,1883.He was the most famous midget in his time and still well known even today.
These are but a few of the oddities that share the world with us,I just couldn’t name them all since there wasn’t enough space to do it in.Some are far worse then what was wrote about and worth a mention to.While doing extensive research for this article,I saw many pictures that almost was hard to believe they was real. These photos should make the ones with minor disabilities very glad that it is all we have to deal with.

MUCH LOVE ,J
