This cop obviously never heard of the word "triage

The issue here isn't that the blood would not be drawn from the drunk driver. The issue is that the nurse made a perfectly reasonable request, and the officer did not want to comply. The officer then wrongfully arrested the nurse to get his way. He probably took more time in his whole kidnap/intimidation process on the nurse than it would have taken to register theguy as a patient. But, there is no cure for stupid.
